Cadtracker nuclear plants

What

  • A thermal power station which uses nuclear reactors to produce electricity
  • There are over 400 nuclear power stations in operation throughout the world

Example

Cadtracker Fukushima Daiichi

Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

Japan

The Nuclear Power Plant comprises six separate boiling water reactors originally designed by General Electric (GE), and maintained by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO).

Details

  • An 8.9-magnitude earthquake triggered a tsunami which caused explosions and leaks of radioactive gas in three reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station that also suffered partial meltdowns
  • Spent fuel rods at another reactor overheated and caught fire, releasing radioactive material directly into the atmosphere

Benefits of CADTRACKER for
NUCLEAR PLANTS

Where additional risks are present during an emergency, CADTRACKER can be custom built to provide further information to first responders including a Geiger counter for each individual being tracked. More building types
